Claflin is actively working with The United States Trade Representative (USTR) through Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) on mitigating any disruption of supplies due to the recently released fourth list of products which will be subject to a 25% tariff.

On November 15th2018 the Claflin Company was invited to an IT Apprenticeship Panel Presentation by Apprenticeship Rhode Island, Jonathan Buchanan and Helen Li attended this function. During the presentation Jon, and 4 other participants on the panel shared best practices.

On Feb 1, 2018 I embarked on my first mission trip to La Romana in the Dominican Republic. It was easy for me to be anxious, but that subsided with the arrival of the Acoaxet Chapel Mission family. 

Today we participated in the Rally Against Cancer fundraising event that directly supports Dana Farber Cancer Institute. 

The annual Claflin Strategic Sales Meeting was held in beautiful Newport, R.I. this August. In 2018 we recognize Lisa Golia as Employee of the Year for her outstanding dedication to the company while always remaining so cheerful. We want to thank everyone who attended for participating in our breakout sessions as well as your company at all the breakfast, lunch and dinner tables.
